This Center
Step Card was made using a retired SU Christmas paper pack which had Mellow
Moss and Real Red cardstock and coordinating striped papers. I used spellbinders dies to cut the shapes
for the center of the card. The tree is
made from the Verve O Christmas
Tree stamp set by stamping it with versa mark ink and adding color with PearlEx
powder pigments. The sentiment on the envelope and card are also from the same
stamp set. I JUST LOVE VERVE STAMPS!
ENABLER ALERT!
Wouldn’t
you know, Verve is currently running a 20% off sale on all of their stamp
sets until August 4, 2012.
I altered the
card just a little so that it would fit into a 5.5”x 5.5” envelope and followed
the YouTube video instructions
on how to make it with my Martha Stewart scoreboard. Essentially,
you use an 8.5” x 8.5” piece of paper and score at 3 1/8” on all sided. Oh yea, how about this wonderful tool has
been in the box sitting in a corner for over 6 months. I’m trying to do better when it comes to
using what I have instead of purchasing more stuff and I am proud to report
that I used things that I have on hand already and it feels GOOOOOOD.
Not to mention, it feels good to my pocketbook.
Hahahahahaha
