Wreath Ornaments 2012
These
wreath ornaments were made using Paper Studio gold pearlized cardstock and the wreath on
page 43 of the Potpourri Basket Cricut Cartridge. I cut the wreath at 2.5” and used CTMH Almond
Glitz Glitter Gel, hotfix topaz bling, and HL Christmas 2012 ribbon to embellish
them.

This card was made using the wreath on page 43 of
the Potpourri Basket Cricut Cartridge. I
cut the wreath at 2.5” and used CTMH Almond Glitz Glitter Gel, hotfix topaz bling,
and HL Christmas 2012 ribbon to embellish the wreath.
I
set my paper us as an Avery 3268 Note Card, Landscape; then printed the inside
sentiment using the following RGB code:
R=224 G=179 and B=0.
The
front of the card was made using my altered wreath listed above, more HL
Christmas 2012 ribbon, and Mary Christmas Stamp from CTMH’s C1525 Pear &
Partridge stamp set that comes with the G1052 Pear and Partridge Workshop on
the Go on page 65 of the Autumn/Winter 2012 Idea Book & Catalog.

Weekend Crop Cards
This was a great weekend. I spent time hanging out with some of my
wonderful crafting buddies. I even
managed to get my cards done for a sympathy card swap using a technique with 3
ply napkins that my friend Mazie showed us.
The first set of cards was made with napkins and
organza I from Hobby Lobby. Of course you
know they were on sale. LOL However, any 3 ply napkin with a great design
pattern will do. You may email me for
the instruction if you like.
The next set of cards was made with CTMH’s Pear
and Partridge Card Kit on Page
66 of the Fall and Winter 2012 Idea Book.
Card 1 of this kit was my favorite as you can see. I plan to make this my card for the year.

Rolo Pencil
Most people make these as teacher’s
gifts. As you can see, I made a regular color
pencil and Halloween themed ones. I plan to give these babies out at my Crop in
October. The Rollo pencil is pretty easy
to make; therefore I don’t think you will have any problems using these
instructions even though a picture illustrations is not included. Should you run into problems, you may check

The following items are needed for each pencil:
· 3 ½” x 4 ¾” Cardstock or design paper (use yellow
cardstock or paper for regular pencil)
· 3 ½” x ½” Cardstock for body of the eraser (use pink
for regular pencil eraser)
· 7/8” cardstock circle for the eraser head. (use pink for regular pencil eraser)
7/8”
is equivalent to .875” if you decide to you your Gypsy to layout your cuts to
use your Cricut machine or you can use a
nickel to draw your circle and cut it out with scissors.
· 3 ½” length of metallic ribbon or aluminum foil.
· Zig zag scissors
· Paper crimper or score tool
· Adhesive of your choice
· 1 Role of Rolo
· 1 Hershey Kiss
First, take your cardstock and put the 4
¾” side into the crimper and crimp. If
you do not have a crimper, you can score the cardstock at every ¼” until it is
fully scored from end to end. You may
also crimp or score your metallic ribbon.
Next, trim one of the 3 ½” ends of the
cardstock with zig zag scissors.
Apply adhesive to the cardstock and roll
it around the Rolo keeping the zig zag closed to the edge of the Rolo. You will have some of the Rolo showing on the
other end. Wrap and adhere the 3 ½” x ½”
cardstock around the end of the Rolo that is still showing to make the side of
the eraser.
Next, cover and adhere that same end with
the 7/8” circle to complete the eraser.
Wrap and adhere the ribbon just under the eraser.
Lastly, adhere the Hershey Kiss to the
other end and cut off the white kiss tag if it is show. As you can see, I forgot to do that part
before I took the picture. LOL

CTMH Coffin Treat Boxes
The
new CTMH Cricut cartridge is very addictive.
I just can’t seem to put it away.
Hahahahaha. This weekend I used
it to make these coffin treat boxes. The
cutting measurements are as follows:
Coffin Box = 7.5"
Spider Web = 2.5"
RIP = 2.0"
Black Strip = 11" x 1/2"
Skeleton = 4.5
Spider Web = 2.5"
RIP = 2.0"
Black Strip = 11" x 1/2"
Skeleton = 4.5
These fun boxes makes great party favors for those who like to
throw a party for Halloween. I would not
recommend giving them out to the trick or treaters unless you cut the box
smaller because this size holds a great deal of candy.

The first page is of my new grandniece Ms. Leilani Amaya
Lee. The second page is of her with her
proud parents and Gmoma. Of course my
sister says she is too young to be called grandmother. Hahahahahaha
Even though I completed this project last, I decided to post it
first because the next two posts will include information on how to do the
projects.

3x3 Note Card Holder
CTMH 3x3 Note Cards
This week, I made 3x3 note cards and 3”
envelopes using my two favorite CTMH Cricut cartridges. The first set of cards and envelopes was made
with the Clementine Paper pack and the Art Philosophy cartridge. I made sure that I used the paper saver and
auto fill features with this project.
This helped me know that I could get four cards out of one piece of
12x12 card stock and two envelopes out of a 12x12 piece of paper. The cards were cut at 3” and the envelopes at
3.25” with the Cricut Expression.
The Christmas 3x3 note cards were made with a
combination of the Art Philosophy and Artiste cartridges. The lovely bow is from the Artiste cartridge
and all other embellishments came from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I used cardstock and paper from another
source.
