Completed Mini Album

It has been over a month and I finally finished my niece Tiffany and nephew Bobby's hand made mini album of this past Christmas. My husband requested that I make this album for them to express our appreciation of their hospitality. Our whole family really enjoyed spending time with them for Christmas.

The album cover was made from recycled chipboard covered with paper from a K & Company pack that I purchased at Michaels at 90% off. I used my gypsy and cricut for some of the embellishments but most of them were also purchased at Michaels for 90% off.

I really hope my niece and nephew like this album because it took me all day to put it together.

Thank you for looking and please feel free to leave a comment.

Wear Red for Women's Health Card

The image used for this card is a digistamp supplied by one of the great women on SOC. I thought it only fitting to make this card all about Women's Health awareness because today is Wear Red Day. I just love how the prima flowers and bubbles finished off my card. Hope you enjoy it. TFL

Some ladies on the SOC and I are in a challenge to not purchase any crafting materials the entire month of February. We decided to make bookmarks to help remind us of our goal for this challenge. The entire thing was made from scraps from my scrap bin. WHOOHOO! I chose the shopabella stamp and colored it with copics. The flowers were a punch that I purchased from a company. TFL

FNC Jan 28, 2011

This week's SOC FNC image was this cute dog digital stamp. The card stock is SU Crushed curry, soft suede, Bermuda Bay, and whisper white. The embelishments were SU's soft suede polka dot grosgrain ribbon, and rhinestone brads. I used SU and copic markers to color the image. Then I used the cuttlebug with the nestie round scallop and cuttlebug d'vine swirl embosing folder. TFL!

Diva Card

I made another card today for the FNC on ScrapsofColor (SOC) that will post tomorrow night. Vivian did a great job picking out an image for this challenge. Most people probably would not see this image as a diva so, I decided to "divafy" it as much as I could. The people on SOC are amazing. I really enjoy hanging out with them in the evenings after a long day of work.

Any who, I hope you all like the card.

Christmas Layouts

I had a change to get my Christmas pages complete. This was truly a special Christmas because my family had so much fun hanging out and it snowed while we were in Atlanta. We Southwest Georgians do not get a chance to experience snow at Christmas therefore we were all excited.

SOC FNC 1/7/11

I had soooo much fun participating in my first challenge on Scraps of Color (SOC). This is the card I made for the image challenge. Thank you all for looking.

Working on Projects Again

I AM BACK! LOL I finally finshed with school, got my craft room cleaned and started back doing some things. I really appreciate my sistahs on Scraps of Color telling me about these mini albums. My first major project was this recycled toilet paper roll mini album. It took a little time putting it together but I had fun doing it.

I am using this album to track my progess of my weight loss during my participation in the ScrapFit 90 day chellenge that began 1/1/11. Yall wish me luck. Hahahah.

Paper Purses for Swap

These are the items I made for Kbickel's Paper Purse Swap. They were really fun to make.

This is another purse that I made, but I decided to try using Swarovski crystals for the handle.

I hope you like them. TFL!
